The roots of two gorgeous Katsura trees in the front yard posed a challenge for anything planted underneath. We added year-round color with flowering perennials and evergreen foliage, adding fieldstone steppers to create access from the street. In the back yard, we extended an existing patio and retaining wall to create a new waterfall that brings sound and movement to the garden.
