This side yard was swampy and full of mosquitos when we arrived, and the young clients wanted to make it usable and update the traditional boxwood design. We tied the downspouts into a series of underground flow wells to manage stormwater on site. A raised steel edge, river gravel surface and crisp bluestone corners give the space a modern vibe. A new arbor with swing and trellises on the shed add color and style.
